Our Quality

Quality assurance at Lima Petro Refinery runs end-to-end — from feedstock screening at the gate, through in-process control during distillation and blending, to a Certificate of Analysis issued for every batch before dispatch. The numbers a customer puts in their spec are the numbers we put on the COA.

Philosophy

Repeatable quality is the whole product.

Quality runs through every stage

We treat quality as a system, not an inspection at the loading platform. Every drum of feedstock that enters the gate is sampled and tested before it touches the line. Every cut leaving the vacuum distillation column is checked against its target window. Every batch dispatched leaves with a Certificate of Analysis tied to its production data — so if a customer questions a value three months from now, we can trace it back to the exact run.

Why this matters for a B2B buyer

Lubricant blenders, paint formulators, fuel traders and industrial buyers all share the same underlying need: the next batch should behave like the last batch. Specifications that drift between shipments are what break customer relationships in this industry. Our quality system exists to make sure the spec on the COA is the spec in the drum — and that the spec on the next COA matches it too.

ASTM test methods

02 — What we measure

Every grade, against standard methods.

Each Certificate of Analysis lists the test method alongside the result so a customer's lab can reproduce the measurement against the same standard. These are the ASTM methods we routinely test against across our recycled base oils, white spirit and heavy hydrocarbon ranges.
